Drinking Water Systems

What’s in your water?

The quality of your home’s drinking water may meet local standards, but it might not meet your own.

Did you know that ordinary tap water can contain many undesirable substances that could affect not only your appliances and home but also your body.

Tap water can contain dissolved metals, including lead and iron, nitrates, chlorine, mineral salts, sulfate, mercury, asbestos and arsenic.

We at EcoWater Halton care about the quality of life for you and your family. We can provide you with cleaner, clearer drinking water with an EcoWater drinking water purification system, which produces water ideal for:

  • Drinking
  • Coffee and tea
  • Cooking
  • Ice cubes
  • Baby formula
  • Juice concentrates
  • House plants
  • Steam irons

An EcoWater drinking water filtration system is more convenient and less costly than buying bottled water. Best of all, it pays for itself over time and makes a difference you will notice every day. Let your local EcoWater Pro to determine the filtration system that best suits you and your families needs.

How an RO Works:

  1. Household water is directed through a pre-filter for filtration to remove sediment, chlorine taste and odor, and particulate matter.
  2. The water is then forced, by pressure, through a semi-permeable membrane where a high percentage of the dissolved solids, etc. are rejected and flushed to the drain.
  3. Filtered water is reserved in the storage tank until needed. An activated carbon absorption block filter that removes tastes and odors polishes the water immediately before going to the faucet.

EPS MICROBIOLOGICAL SERIES

The EPS 1000 Series is a a microbiological drinking water purification system certified to meet or exceed the EPA requirements for the removal of bacteria, viruses and cysts such as giardia and cryptosporidia without ultra violet technologies.  The EPS 1000 can be installed on both municipal and well water supplies.

How the EPS 1000 works:

Household water is directed through a pre-filter where lead, chlorine taste and odor and sediment are reduced. The water then passes through the purifying filter where bacteria, cysts, viruses and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are reduced. The only thing left behind is pure water and minerals that help improve the taste of filtered water.

ECCWS CENTRAL WATER SYSTEM

The EcoWater Central Chloramine/Chlorine Water System provides filtered water throughout your entire home.

How the Central Water System Works

  1. During normal operation, the water flows through several filtration processes where sediments, chlorine taste and other contaminants that adversely affect taste and odor are reduced.
  2. The system cleans itself automatically based on the amount of water that has been filtered, or after 14 days, whichever comes first. During this cycle, the media bed is rejuvenated and sediments are flushed down the drain.
